HOPE PARISH CHURCH BELLS
THE HOPEFOOLS
GROUPS AND ACTIVITIES
The bells are a complete ring of six bells from the Loughborough Foundry of John Taylor & Co. The three old original bells were melted down to form the new ring of six in 1920-21, which is a memorial to those who gave their lives in the Great War of 1914-18.
This is a very tuneful ring of six bells which are friendly to handle.
The bells are rung for most Sunday morning services and for weddings.
Practice night is Tuesdays at 7-9pm, ringers old and new always welcome.

THE HOPEFOOLS
The Hopefools are an amateur dramatic group started by members of the Hope Church congregation in 1998. The group got together for relaxation and fun to help lower the high stress levels caused by the worries of the rebuilding and renovation of the parish church!
We usually manage two productions a year, a pantomime in January/February and an autumn show in September/October.
The autumn shows typical comprise a couple of short plays/melodramas and a number of musical items.
The accompanying picture was taken at the dress rehearsal of our latest production in February 2008 and shows two pantomime dames and a pantomime cow!
If you feel you would like to join the group or wish to help out in any way come along to our regular meetings every Wednesday at 7.30 pm in the Church Hall.
