The picture shows our magnificent new notice board in position at the car park entrance to the churchyard. Roy Farnworth, pictured, designed and built the the noticeboard using a pew displaced during the church restoration 10 years ago.
The intention is to display the month’s notices and meetings, using content you can also find here on the website and in the magazine, together with posters for upcoming events in the church. In the photo the board has just been erected and so is empty – the reflection of the car park makes an interesting picture!
One feature you might wish to checkout is the novelty key hole cover!
The two keys are held by our wardens.
