REGULAR PARISH MEETINGS AND EVENTS
Tuesdays
Coffee Mornings at Emmanuel Church, Pen-y-ffordd, 10.30am
Thursdays
Pop-In, Church Hall from 12noon to 3pm. All are welcome to pop in for a drink and biscuits, a book-swap, a read of the paper and chat with friends. During the winter months soups is served on the last Thursday of each month.
Mothers’ Union meet every 2nd Thursday in the month at 2pm, at Heulwen Close, Hope.
Fridays
Belleplates Group 6.15-7.15pm in the Church Hall.
Choir practice – starts 7.30pm in the Church Hall. New members always welcome – contact Kath direct or email through the website.
Saturdays
Church is open for “Activity Afternoon” once a month except January & February.
Wednesdays during Lent
29th February, & 7th, 14th, 21st and 28th March, 7.30pm at Emmanuel Church.
This year’s York Course on the subject of ‘Handing On The Torch’. Are you concerned about a rising generation who seem disconnected from the faith which you value? Then this discussion group may be for you! The material includes recorded interviews with three prominent Christian personalities: Clifford Longley, Rachel Lampard and Archbishop John Sentamu, and a course handbook available for participants at £3.75. Please tell the Rector in advance if you are hoping to attend so that he can order the appropriate number of booklets.
